Renews your Windows 95/98/NT long filenames anddirectory names after they have been trashed by pre-windows 95 software like tape backups, archive and zip programs, file transfer and file management programs. It creates a totally portable batch file to perform the renaming - you dont need a copy of LFNit! on the destination machine. Just include the LFNrenew.bat when you zip or transfer the files, then run it on the destination machine to renew the longfilenames. Adds years of life to the old software youpurchased! Also very useful as a backup. |
